Data exchange This database is built to exchange information, and supports these protocols : • Data exports in .txt, .sql, .xml, .csv... ; Users can create their own export projects by selecting tables, fields, format, translation language, destination (disk, ftp, email...).  |

• Webservices : SOAP and Web Services (server AND client) are supported. Specific web services can be developed upon request. For instance, this application has been interfaced with http://bookings.nl online hotel reservation website. |

• HTTP requests : XML http requests can be sent to the server, from a Flash website for instance. |
|
• ODBC : as an ODBC driver is available on MS Windows™, it is easy to access any data from an ODBC client application. |

Sites synchronization The main database is installed at the "Comité Régional du Tourisme d'Ile-de-France" in Paris. The Comité has the ability to view all the data available on the platform. Seven local versions are running out of Paris. Each site is responsable for local data restricted to their geography. 
Data is centrally stored on the master server in Paris, and synchronized in real time through ADSL/4DOpen connections. |
